Splendours Three from God Proceeding Every Day in All We Do
I am not religious in the conventional sense but some hymns have the most beautiful and uncomplicated way of expressing gratitude for all that is good in the world.
Little drops of water, little grains of sand made the mighty ocean and the beauteous land.

2009 January - April Volunteering: Internship in the marketing and development office at the Courtauld Institute As an intern, I was responsible for updating the Raiser’s Edge database information on alumni and Friends, from contact details to education information, interests, and publications. I also assisted with the various needs of a busy development and marketing office: coordinating mailings, helping to host events and cultivate alumni and prospects, preparing information packs, conversing with visiting Friends, preparing detailed information for the Gallery website, proof reading the twice-yearly magazine The Courtauld News, researching information relating to alumni, and finally generating and proposing original ideas for fundraising events.2010 Marketing and Development Office at the Courtauld Institute
For 4-6 weeks I covered the role of Friends Administrator, adding new Friends, dealing with enquiries, doing the banking and thinking of new ways to encourage more participation in events.
2012 Organised and Curated an Exhibition This involved the photography, framing, marketing, and exhibiting in London of 30-40 Approximately 4’ x 4’ Paintings, and finally organising an online catalogue with copy by the artist. This is an ongoing project and the paintings are advertised monthly in Galleries Magazine. www.rachelgrimmerpaintings.com
I hope to convey the broad range of my interests; which include Textiles, Art, Architecture, Sculpture, Ceramics, Photography, Family History, Historic houses, Churches and Gardens, with the photographs that I have put here.
Generally speaking from my earliest years as a child who went from Diss in Suffolk to Uganda, through boarding school in Cromer and school in Norwich, Nursing at the Middlesex, and up to the present, I have had a great capacity for enjoying life and I find the fact that there is so much to learn a continual source of stimulation.
